I know you already got a book review on Do Hard Things but here is another one, Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper. This book has also taught me to go out of my comfort zone and to start doing something with my dream. In one of the earlier chapters, it makes the illustration that we are in a gallery and most of us are watching the floor as we are walking through the gallery. I read that and instantly knew it was talking about me. I am an introvert, yes, but that doesn't give me the excuse to hide behind that word and use it to never do anything in life. Being an introvert is not a bad thing, but it is a bad thing to use it incorrectly. Some of my favorite quotes from the book are:
"The opposite of wasting your life is to live by a single, soul-satisfying pass; on for the supremacy of God in all things."
"We will squander our days pursuing bubbles that burst."
"If our life and death do not show the worth and wonder of Jesus, they are wasted."
"Every direction you turn there are unknowns and things beyond your control. 'The Myth of Safety"
"Joy in God is awakened in the heart when God graciously opens our eyes to see the glory of Christ in the gospel."

I encourage you to read this book to help you draw closer to the Lord and your ultimate purpose in life. The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.
Most of you have seen my post about the latest news on my book. I am so very blessed that the Lord has put those words on my heart. Please continue to like and share my posts with friends, family, and followers. I have been researching the best (and cheapest) way to self-publish my book. If any of you have suggestions or know people who might have suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions, comments, or prayer request.
